Our team has multiple advanced degrees specializing in health administration, real estate, legal, accounting, property management, etc. We take pride in having dedicated employees that understand the complexities that come when health care and real estate cross paths.

LEADERSHIP

The principals and team at Innovcare are unique in bringing their previous health care acumen into the real estate market, not the other way around. This allows for the complex situations surrounding healthcare real estate to be solved in the most efficient way possible. The principal partners of Innovcare have developed, maintained, leased, constructed, and operated over one million square feet of healthcare real estate assets in their history. This real estate experience includes working with facilities such as medical office buildings, ambulatory surgery centers, specialty centers, FQHCs, labs, imaging centers, primary care offices, occupation health facilities, employer health clinics, and supportive housing. The Innovcare team is passionate about health care and committed to resolving complex projects while fostering lasting relationships.

President - Principal

Tyson is the founder of Innovcare | Innovative Healthcare Real Estate. During Tyson's more than 15 years in healthcare real estate related services, Tyson has been involved in many third party and wholly owned healthcare real estate development projects, including leasing, dispositions and acquisitions. He also is involved in predevelopment, development, pre-leasing, market analysis, and owner and tenant relations.

Tyson has several years experience working with hospitals, healthcare organizations, community leaders, healthcare real estate developers and owners throughout Indiana, the Midwest, and the United States.

He has represented and worked with multiple healthcare real estate investment companies including American Healthcare Investors (AHI), PHT Investment Holdings, Grubb & Ellis Healthcare REIT Medical Portfolio, Duke Realty (DRE) REIT, HCP Inc (HCP) REIT, Monticeto Medical Real Estate, 1031 Exchange Investors, etc. He has provided strategic real estate advice to numerous hospital organizations including Indiana University Health, Franciscan Alliance, Parkview Health, Ascension Health, Community Health Network, Lutheran Health Network, Wishard (Eskenazi) Health Services, United Health Group, Optum Health, American Health Network and Fresenius Dialysis.

Tyson Chastain attend Indiana University Bloomington from 2001-2005 and Indiana University Purdue University from 2006-2009. Tyson is originally from Muncie, IN where he attended Delta High School. Tyson and his wife, Gwen Hobley Chastain, currently live in the Historical Old Northside located in Indianapolis, IN.

Tyson was Student Body President of Indiana University Bloomington 2004-2005. Tyson was involved in many aspects of Indiana University through working with the Indiana University Trustees, Bloomington Faculty Council, Student Fee Review, Indiana University Student Association, Athletic Committee, Student Trustee Search and Selection Committee, Student Activity Board, Indiana Brain Drain Committee, etc.

During his administration Tyson and his staff were essential to the passing of IU Bloomington “Universal Transportation”, the “Student Athletic Fee”, and writing the student code of conduct.

Tyson received his B.S. in Health Administration from Indiana University (2005) and a Master of Health Administration from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (2009).

Tyson was in Acacia Fraternity, where he served as the Vice President from 2003-2004 and social chair 2003-2004. Tyson was involved in many other University positions during his time at Indiana University.

Outside of work, Tyson is active with the Indiana Hospital Executives Network, The Penrod Society and the Indiana University Health Methodist Foundation Inspiring Leaders Program of which he was a founder. Tyson also stays busy with his involvement in the Old Northside Neighborhood community as well as King Park and Kennedy King Memorial initiative.

Jack Westfall

Vice President of Development and Leasing

Jack is Vice President of Development and Leasing for Innovcare | Innovative Healthcare Real Estate. He has successfully brokered multiple healthcare deals in Indiana and is responsible for real estate development and leasing in Northeast Indiana including Fort Wayne.

After graduating from Canterbury High School in Fort Wayne, Jack graduated from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University with a BS in Marketing and also received an MBA in Real Estate Finance and Investment from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.

Jack is a licensed real estate broker in Indiana and Illinois. Jack gained his initial real estate experience at Millco Investments doing site selection work for Arby’s and Dollar General. In 2007, he joined Atwater Group where he brokered and assisted in the development of over 150 Family Dollar stores throughout the Midwest and other parts of the country. He moved to Troutman & Dams in 2013 working on single tenant development projects for McDonalds, Fresenius, AutoZone, Thornton’s and several others. Including development work he continues his brokerage services, representing retailers including AutoZone and Pet Suites.

Jack is married to Kristin Owen Westfall and resides in Fort Wayne, IN with their three children (Zibby, Jane & Owen).

Greg Cochran

Greg Cochran

Executive Vice President of Operations

Greg Cochran joined Innovcare | Innovative Healthcare Real Estate in 2022 to help analyze and oversee development opportunities across the Midwest. His responsibilities include identifying and analyzing potential development opportunities, underwriting the financial feasibility of development projects, acquisition of real estate assets, divestment of real estate assets, and to help manage development projects.

Greg brings over 10 years of asset valuation, underwriting fixed income, foreign exchange, and real estate products, and managing financial budgets. Most notably Greg spent over five years growing, managing, and scaling Patachou Hospitality Group; specifically the Public Greens Urban Kitchen concept into multiple locations. Greg graduated from Purdue University with a B.S in Applied Statistics with a focus on financial mathematics.

Outside the office, Greg enjoys all things outdoors, going to concerts, and spending time on the water with his wife and daughters.

Randa Payton

Administrative Associate

Randa supports the Innovcare and Innovcare VA teams throughout the state. Through her work at Innovcare, she is able to explore her interests in real estate and marketing.

Randa graduated from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis in 2018. She earned her B.F.A in Photography from Herron School of Art + Design which allows her the opportunity to assist the marketing team on projects.

Randa has lived in Indianapolis for 12 years and loves to explore the city.

Outside the office, Randa enjoys developing new creative skills, traveling with her family, and supporting Columbus Blue Jackets Hockey.

Ginger Barnes

Ginger Barnes

Director of Assets and Property Management

Ginger Barnes brings nearly two decades of operations leadership and asset management expertise to her role as Director of Assets and Property Management at Innovcare. A US Navy veteran who served nine years as an Operations Specialist First Class, Ginger led mission-critical operations across three forward deployments. Her military experience forged the operational discipline, strategic problem-solving abilities, and leadership under pressure that define her approach to healthcare real estate management today.

Following her military service, Ginger spent nearly a decade directing multi-site facilities and field operations, overseeing capital improvement projects, and managing annual budgets exceeding $4.2 million. She has achieved an exemplary record of zero regulatory violations across federal and state reporting, permitting, audits, and inspections—critical in healthcare environments where compliance directly impacts patient care and provider operations. Her background includes experience as Program Director for an Intensive Outpatient Mental Health Program, providing unique insight into how facility management impacts patient outcomes and well-being. Ginger serves as Secretary for the Board of Directors for HVAF of Indiana – helping combat veteran homelessness - and resides in Indianapolis with her family.
